Ride Variety
Midways provided by World's Finest Shows are composed of rides that will satisfy the demands of all who enjoy the excitement and thrill of amusement devices.
In our inventory of over 40 rides there are traditional ones such as Merry Go Rounds, Tilt a Whirls, Cars and Boats along with the more modern devices like the Venetian Swing Carousel, Spinout and Wiggle Wurm. We have rides for children, ones for parents to ride with or without their children and rides that are suitable for thrill seekers of older ages.
We get most of our rides from suppliers that are based in Europe and the United States. Before purchasing any new ride it is completely researched and tested by our management team. As our chief rider says, "I ride everything we have, at least once to determine if the public will like it". After a new ride is purchased it is inspected by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority as well as the Electrical Safety Authority along with our own staff to ensure that it will meet the demands of our route in Ontario.
Along with purchasing new rides World's Finest Shows is known for refurbishing used amusement rides and maintaining all of its equipment to the highest degree. This work is performed at our state of the art work facility located in Nanticoke, Ontario and also on the road when necessary during the operating season.
Our company has an excellent safety record and we want each of our customers to enjoy their best experience when visiting the World's Finest Shows midway.
Ride Safety
Safety and customer enjoyment are paramount to the operations of our midways throughout Ontario.
Our staff of qualified inspectors, managers and ride operators are fully trained to inspect the equipment before opening each day. In addition, all equipment is inspected during erection and dismantling and we follow diligently all procedures as mandated by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority and ride manufacturers. A third level of safety is added by our insurance company who hires an independent safety consultant to inspect our equipment on a yearly basis.
It is important that our customers abide by the posted rules and regulations for each ride. We invite you to study our online safety brochure to fully understand the different aspects of each ride.
The comfort and safety of our patrons while walking around our midways are also of importance to World's Finest Shows. Electrical cables and water hoses are covered by mats to provide comfortable walking surfaces, signs and privacy screens are used in areas that are not accessible to the public and all of our midways feature benches, covered rest areas and a guest relations booth where our fully trained staff can handle all of the needs of our customers.
